Books from the U of W Library's regular circulating collection (known as the "Main Stacks" in the Library's catalogue) may be borrowed for 30 days by Collegiate and undergraduate students, alumni, special borrowers, and guests. Staff, faculty and grad students may borrow items for 120 days.
Bound periodicals may only be borrowed for 3 days, regardless of patron type. These materials cannot be renewed online.
Please note that all books are subject to recall after 14 days. Books on Course Reserve and specially marked books in the Main Stacks will have varying borrowing times. It is strongly advised that you keep the accompanying check-out slip which will indicate when your books are due back.
For more details on our loan periods, please see our Borrowing, Renewing, and Requesting Materials page.
