Step 1) Retrieve you Equitrac Password.
This password was emailed to your University email account. It will be in the email with the subject heading: "Important Printing and Photocopying Information".
If you do not have this email, you will have to obtain your password from Student Central.
Step 2) Add funds to your Equitrac Account
At an Equitrac Paystation (located in the Library and the Uplink Computer Lab):
a) Enter your Student Number.
b) Enter your Equitrac Password.
c) Insert money into the Equitrac Paystation.
***Please note, the machine does not take pennies, nickles or dimes. It also does not give change.***
d) End your session ("D").
If the amount of money on your account appears to be incorrect, please fill out the Equitract Request Form at http://library.uwinnipeg.ca/use-the-library/study-spaces-and-room-bookings/uplink-computer-common/equitrac-reset-request-form.php.
Step 3) Print or Photocopy
a) If you are logged into a computer, send your document to print as you normally would (File>Print>OK). Once you have done so, a popup box will display the cost of your print job. Click accept if you wish to print.
***Please note, printing defaults to double sided printing. If you need to print single sided, do the following: File>Print>Properties>Duplex (change to "Off") OR Select "Print One Sided" under the print menu if using any of the Microsoft Office 2010 programs***
b) Go to a printer and enter your student number and Equitrac Password using the keypad located beside the printer/copier. Select "Print" ("F1") > Select your print job from the keypad display > Select "Print" ("F1"). Your document will now print.
a) Go to a printer/photocopier unit and enter your student number and Equitrac Password using the keypad located beside the printer/copier. Select "Copy" ("F2"). The copier function screen will now be activated.
b) Copy your document.
c) Press "End" ("F3") on the keypad to end your session.
