Equitrac is the name of the printing and photocopy management system used at the University of Winnipeg. Through this system, students are provided with a personal printing account (often referred to as an Equitrac account) that allows students to protect and pay for their printing. Students may access their Equitrac accounts with the username and passcode provided in the email sent at the beginning of their first term to their student webmail. If students have not received the email, or have deleted it, the username and passcode can be obtained from Student Central on the 1st floor of Centennial Hall.
Once the Equitrac username and passcode have been obtained, students will need to load money onto their printing accounts. This can be done at one of the Equitrac Paystations located in the Library or the UpLink Computer lab. The cost of each print job will be debited from the account once the documents have been released from the printer. If an account has insufficient funds to print a job, the job will remain in the printing queue until enough funds are present to cover the cost and the job is re-released with the student’s Equitrac codes.
