Yes, the University of Winnipeg Library wecomes guest users in our space, regardless of whether or not they are involved formally with any of our programs.
Please be aware that we do NOT have free public wifi in the library, but if you bring a piece of photo ID, you are able to get a free account to use the library computers for a limited amount of time (between 30 and 120 minutes depending on the time of year; renewals at the discretion of library staff).
You are able to use books from the library's general collection in the library for free, but to check them out, you will need to sign up for a library account. These are free to students and faculty of most Canadian post-secondary institutions, or $25 for those who are not. Guest borrowers are not permitted to use Course Reserve items, book study rooms, or place Interlibrary loans.
